The Twelve

Maya Gordon and her brother Adam live in a world just like ours. Only... it's completely different. In our world, people dream of being able to fly, teleport, or disappear. In their world, they can actually do them. Or rather, each person has a separate power. It's a part of who they are. When everyone's powers start to fade away, becoming less and less powerful, panic ensues. Only twelve people in the entire world's powers don't fade and it is up to them and only them to bring the Abilities and happiness back into their society.
