He Will Be The Death Of Me

Ciel Phantomhive is a simple bastard's child. His mother, Anastasia Ryan; a noble, slept with a farmhand; Joseph Riche.

Anastasia was given two choices:

1) Sell the child and wash her hands of him.

Or

2) Hide him away so no one can ever know he was born.

Not wanting to completely abandon her son, she chose option two.

He stays in a tiny cottage behind Anastasia's mansion, never allowed to go outside, not even to just sit on the back porch.

One day, a nice fellow, Sebastian Michaelis; prince of Vaele Mont, stumbles upon the cottage and decides to rest there for a bit.

His guards surround the perimeter and make sure no one gets in or out. Prince Sebastian finds Ciel hiding in the bathtub, cowering away from him.
