Jade

Jade is dying. Not in the way that we all are dying but in the impending death sort. Everyone around her can only see the cancer that's eating away at her, but Jade refuses to wallow in her suffering. She wants to live until she can't anymore and the only person who understands that is Liam, her best friend, who also happens to be the one footing the bill for her medical treatments. Jade thinks she's got it all figured out, that she's accepted that she's nearly out of time and will never do all the things other girls do. She's okay with dying. That is until the morning she wakes up and realizes there is one thing that she's just not willing to lose.
