Jason and Lily are slowly growing apart as Lily moves deeper and deeper into university, she gets busy with her full time schedule and when something traumatic happens to her she doesn't know is Jason will believe her so she stays quiet. Jason struggles with his mental state as he has to overcome some difficult tasks to finally become a police officer like he's dreamed of. The pairs relationship suffers because of this.
