When Isla a 17 year old girl moves to Illinois to live life with her father for the first time in 16 years after he's been locked up in prison, she finally starts to learn what the adult life has in store for her. While being very confused with the idea of life when she turns 18, she goes back to her home town to figure out why she can't leave her old life behind. Being obsessed with cutting, cigarettes, drinking, and drugs to take the pain away, she learned that wasn't her only obsession no more when she finally meets Dean.
