The Island

Sailing closely along the line of fate, a teenage girl joins a crew of a fishing boat embarked on a treacherous voyage. Intertwined with recollections of the past, she experiences loss that rocks her heart, loneliness like a piece of driftwood on a never ending sea, and enmity that strikes like lightning. In a challenge towards the restrictions of humanity placed upon the unfortunate, Margot seeks to overcome the treacherous mountain that looms in her path, composed of societal realities, familial obligations, and internal degradation.
