But that kind of ended after she meet the Tendo family, being the kind and motherly figure that Kasumi is, she asked their father if they could take in (your name) as another member of the family.

Proving to the family that shes worthy to fight and protect the dojo, the Tendo's welcome her as part of their family. When Soun Tendo anounnces to his daughters about the arranged marrage he had for them, (Y/n) thought she would get away with it.
