When their parents died, Scarlett and Rhys White had nothing left. So they did what they had to. They ran. Stealing from the bank and hoping to find food somewhere. That's how they live now. Running around the poor quads, praying the officials won't find them, for their names and faces are everywhere now.

Jason Mountclaff always had an easy life. Living in quad 2, always having food on the table. But he doesn't want that life anymore. He wants rebellion. When he hears about quads 3 and 4 planning to rebel, he goes to great lengths to join it.
