Resident Evil 3: "Raccoon City's Last Stand"
In the harrowing depths of Raccoon City, where the stench of death permeates the air and terror lurks around every corner, a familiar face emerges from the shadows. Stryker, once a resident of this forsaken city, had settled into a desolate life behind prison walls. But fate, in its twisted irony, granted him an opportunity for redemption-a chance to be set free, not by the hands of justice, but by joining the formidable U.B.S.C. Years have passed since that fateful decision, and Stryker finds himself once again deployed into the heart of the city that holds his darkest memories. Raccoon City, ravaged by a relentless zombie virus, becomes the battleground for survival, where hope is a flickering flame amid the encroaching darkness. It is in this grim landscape that Stryker's path collides with that of his former friend, Jill Valentine-a resilient warrior whom he had silently admired from afar, believing he could never bridge the chasm between them. But as the relentless pursuit of the monstrous Nemesis bears down upon them, the boundaries that once separated Stryker and Jill begin to blur. Forced into a desperate alliance, they must face the horrors that lie ahead together. In the crucible of chaos, their destinies intertwine, and a bond forged by shared struggles and untold dangers grows stronger with each passing moment. As they navigate treacherous streets riddled with the undead, their relationship evolves, morphing from hesitant allies to something more. Beneath the weight of impending doom, a fragile connection blossoms-a connection that defies the despair of their surroundings. In this crucible of survival, love and trust become their only solace, their only hope. Post Plague Kidnapping - Published!
It's been five years since the plague struck. Leah knows there are other survivors, but she's avoiding them. She is doing just fine on her own. Surviving after everyone she knew died has made her physically strong and honed her intelligence, but she is emotionally devastated. There is nothing to fear if you don't make yourself emotionally vulnerable. James has spent the last five years helping to build up a colony of survivors. He believes in the small town they have populated and its mission to save humanity from extinction. He and his small team of men find scattered people and bring them in. Over the last two centuries, women have fought for and won more and more rights, gaining equality with men. Society, law, and technology bolsters and enforces these rights, but now they are gone. Women's equality with men is over. There are just too few of them. They aren't lesser but greater, more important, more valuable than men. Men are expendable. Men can stay outside alone if they like, but all women must be brought inside the safety of the Colony and properly taken care of. James has been searching the area Leah lives in. Her time of solitude is up. Leah sparks something in James he's never felt before. He's not letting this one get away, certainly not twice. Genre: Science Fiction, Romance, Post-apocalyptic, Dark romance Length: 84,468 words This book has been published on Amazon. The Virus Within (Original rough draft)
Back by popular request! The 2017 rough draft of The Virus Within! (Caution: Contains massive plotholes that were fixed in the polished The Virus Within Series. Grammar issues are present, particularly missing commas.) What do you do when you are one of the infected? The virus in my blood is trying to steal my humanity. It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. Humankind around the world was driven close to extinction by the sudden appearance of the zombies, yet small groups of survivors constantly manage to appear and put my control to the test. -------------------------- This is a standalone zombie book. It has nothing to do with A Different Virus. I wanted to try a book with an easily irritated main character and a nutcase secondary character. This book has a slightly darker outlook at the beginning than my usual stories, but it has some humor further along. Definitely not a horror story, although it has its share of action. 4 updates a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday! Copyright April 2017. All Rights Reserved.
