Hi, my name is Bella, and I'm just the ordinary teenage girl. Um, WRONG! I'm a mermaid. Yeah, you read it right. A mermaid. I live off the coast of Hawaii where sailors come and go.
Oh, and no, I'm not some creepy siren who drags men out to sea. I'm just a peaceful little mermaid.
Anyways, one day while coming close to the shore, I saw a very attractive young boy surfing. And when a wave took him under and he didn't come up, I swam to him and rescued him.. And I'm pretty sure he saw me before he blacked out.

It was like any other normal day. I was walking down the beach with my surf board in Hawaii and I was super excited because it's been a while since I've been here. For me, this is the best place because I feel like I'm finally home. My little brother Finn, passed away 4 months ago. My parents are a wreck which is obviously acceptable and my big brother Aiden is also been very silent in his room, keeping mostly to himself. Although that is kind of normal in him. As I began to paddle with my board and saw that I could catch a wave, someone yelled "SHARK!". I heard people screaming everywhere, the lifeguards where clearing the beach but I thought that the shark must be far away, so I just ignored it. A Mermaid for the Lonely
A mermaid named Sirène, whose job as a mermaid is to guide those who have died at sea to rest their souls and not be trapped. She typically finds sailors whose ships have sunk, and pirates and convoys alike. Her personality is one of seriousness, and she does not express herself by facial expressions very often. She does sung lovely tunes though, ones of the sea and winds, not ones meant to lure anyone to their doom. She seldom spends time with other merfolk and prefers to be on her own. She is however very curious of the various emotions humans possess and their intensity, since she does not feel these. One day, while Sirène was staying near Pointe de Pen Hir, a dangerous cliffside that plunges right into the ocean. Looking upwards by chance, she saw a human, a man, standing dangerously near the edge of the rocks. The wind blew harshly and she could only watch and wait as he toppled over the edge and feel towards the ocean. She saw no fight in him as he fell. ________________________________________________________________ This is a fantasy story with my mermaid OC that I started making back when I was in middle school. I've used her character to help me through tough times and I am revisiting her. I want to make sure I have a place to remember her story, and make it a happier one than before.Complete
