Jack Woods has always been into music. It's his life, his escape, and he believes that it will be his future. However, his father wants him to take over their family's business straight out of college. So, they make a deal.
Dad will pay for the first semester of college only. And by the end of that semester, Jack must be signed to a promising record deal that can help him advance in his music. If not, he'll return home and train to be Dad's successor.
Kathryn White is a music prodigy. After breaking up with her long-time, first and only boyfriend, she goes to college for an escape. Then, Jack overhears her playing the guitar. When he picks up her raw, talented, beautiful tone, he knows immediately that she's the one. She'll be the one that will help him get signed.
Instantly, he recruits her, without her say. He accounts for everything: money, food, and even a place to meet up.
What he doesn't consider is the fact that she's deaf.
The perfect music partner for him...well, she's deaf.

Sixteen-year-old plus-sized Katie Sims' life-as-she-knew-it ended on a Wednesday. And no, that's not just an overly dramatic view of what happened that day. Seriously, how could anyone be expected to just go on with their lives after: 1. Catching her hot, boy-band-wannabe, boyfriend sharing a video of them making out (including fondling of naked breasts); 2. Learning her nickname, Furby, didn't mean she was cute, round and fluffy. No... try Fat Ugly Rich Bitch Yuppie; 3. Hearing said boyfriend is using her to get to her famous record producer father. Convinced she's a social reject, Katie retreats from the world, opting to finish school online. Well, that is until she's accepted into the Crescendo Academy of Performing Arts. Jumping at the chance to re-invent herself, Katie enrols under a fake name and heads off to boarding school with her best friend Annie. Which is why she is horrified when buddied with the mind-blowingly hot Riley Stone. Apparently some evil-minded deity has it in for her. So what if Riley swears he's more than just a pretty face? Like she would ever trust another hot guy. Riley Stone is stunned when the funny, talented but shrew-like Katie Sims dismisses him at first sight as nothing but a shallow pretty-boy. In fact, she wants nothing to do with him. Realizing his good looks are more of a curse than an advantage where Katie is concerned, he sets out to convince her he's more than just the sum of his parts.

36 parts Complete

Sam just lost her mother to cancer a few weeks ago. Her whole world finally for once has shattered into a million little pieces, and she can't pick it up. Sam has always had music to cope and deal with things, but now it seems that she has no inspiration whatsoever to write. She's fighting on the verge on insanity, and desperately trying to find her way back to what she always used to know. The summer that just begun has obstacles that she never thought she would have to face. Sam, unhappy with herself, and all of her songs coming out the same, sets out on a mission to find herself, but will she uncover more than she anticipated when an fearless mystery man guy comes into the equation? He holds a dark, traumatizing past that no child should ever have to go through, but is that enough to excuse the damage he's already done?
