Alistair Raven was getting used to a life less ordinary - he had new friends, a new job and plenty of things to do, in a world outside London, slowly getting used to life aboard the HMS Britannia. Not only was his grandfather a bonafide hero of the British Civil War, Alistair was chummy with Queen Elizabeth III and the crown princes whilst also trying to live down his reputation for being the upstart that had thwarted the Futurist government. What more, he was the boy who had felled the witch Alice Mould, something he wished he could forget.
Half a world away in Tokyo, Japan...shit had truly hit the fan. The city was in lock down, under attack from within and a horrible history was about to unleash itself upon the unsuspecting citizens.
On a sojourn to Bee's Pin, high up in the clouds, Alistair and his bestie Chelsea Rose intercept a Mayday bouncing around the stratosphere...a plea, begging for help to rescue the caller from the vile clutches of an unimagined horror.
When the gang goes digging, they soon discover, somethings should stay buried and not everyone deserves a second chance.

*COMPLETED* When Rosie turned thirty-one with nothing to show for it, she panicked. Suddenly it felt like her biological clock was ticking, but she didn't want to settle for a man for the sake of having a child. So, after falling down a rabbit hole of research online, she decided to find herself a sperm donor. A strangely vague profile ends up catching her interest. The only real thing she learned about him was that his name was Levi and he was in the military. One invasive and intimate procedure later, Lily was conceived. It was a few months after her daughter was born, when Rosie should have been fretting about the price of nappies and lack of sleep, her worries were overshadowed by an event she never, ever could have predicted: a zombie outbreak. Doing so meant avoiding the dead as well as the living. She'd been doing a decent job of it so far. Until a man breaks into the tower block, but it wasn't just any man. It was Levi, Lily's literal sperm donor. And he was there to save them. -- When a bioweapon was released on UK soil, Staff Sergeant Levi James Brackley was sent from pillar to post in an attempt to help neutralise and contain. He knew it was a shot in the dark, that they were probably dead already, but he had to try. Without knowing it, they'd become a beacon of light during the darkest time of his life. Now it was his turn to be there's.

Nothing goes better with tea and crumpets than corpses and monsters. ************ The final round of Benedict's twisted game begins, and Trinket and Booker are given their first clue: a corpse with a number carved into its head. As they search for a meaning behind the strange message, more bodies begin to surface, attracting the attention of less-than-savory characters. In order to keep Scales from beating them to the finish line, Trinket and Booker must make friends and enemies alike in their race to break the morbid code. However, the closer they get to finding the madman who started this insanity, the more uncertain Trinket becomes of her place in Booker's life. And with the very real threat of her past sins coming to light, she's willing to do almost anything to avoid losing the man she loves. That is, if she can keep from being dragged back to Elysium.
