In every fairy tail there is a tormented, and breathtakingly beautiful princess who's parents have passed away. There is an evil stepmother who does everything in her power to make the life of the poor princess miserable. And, last but certainly not least, the famous Prince Charming who comes ridding in on his valiant steed to save the princess from her horrible life. Then the two fall in love, get married, have a houseful of beautiful children and live happily ever after, and we never hear about the evil stepmother ever again, right?

Wrong.

What happens to the "evil" stepmother? She sure as hell doesn't get her prince charming now does she? Let me ask you something; have you ever stopped and asked yourself why she was so bitter and evil in the first place? Have you ever thought that maybe there was a teensy, tiny chance that she used to be nice? And what if the whole story was told in a way that just made her look like the evil witch? What if she was, in fact, a nice person but no one ever took the time to hear her out? You see, in life, there is always more than just one side to a story, and I am here to tell you mine.

Oh, but where are my manners! My name is Maylis Grimhilde, though you probably know me better as the Evil Queen, Snow White's stepmother, and I will try my best to make you see that I am not as evil as Snow White made me out to be.

Here goes nothing...
