We've all heard of fairies right? But have you ever wondered where they live? In 2 places actually. They are mainly found in The Spring, which is the outer layer of The Spiral. The heart of The Spiral is located in the center of the Earth. Surrounding it are layers, each it's own world. The fairy world is The Spring.
Lately, though, humans have been digging into the ground, causing many fairies to lose their homes. Because of this, fairies are forced to live in he human world, where they immediately lose their wings. After a while they lose everything, their magic, even their memories of the spiral and being a fairy. A terrible fate, really.
This story stars a young girl fairy. One who has a plan. I can't tell you what it is exactly, but I can tell you this. It is to try and save her memories and the memories of all fairies. But can she do it without letting humans figure it out, or will she lead to the extinction of fairy kind, and the end of the spiral?

Her mentor is supposed to be there to help her through things, but will he make her life easier or more complicated? My guess is the latter, but he is so gorgeous that a little complication is a small sacrifice to make. Dane just wants to get left alone. Ever since losing his brother, he's not been quite the same.
