She traveled to the 21st century in front of an old school building and seeing a large yellow glob with tentacles in front of her before passing out. Waking up she sees a Giant Octopus, a Stern looking Man and a Blond haired girl.

In her second year she was placed in class 2-B after she had decided to let go of being in the 'Perfect Class' also known as Class A. Though she still had good grades- grades that could keep her in class 3-B or even the lowest student in 3-A- She was in class 3-E for a petty reason. Like her closest friend Akabane Karma- frequently called 'Cherry' by her- She had cut some classes in her second year of junior high quite often due to her disinterest in most classes, but that was acceptable. Here comes the petty part- she'd always get ratted out by Asano Gakushū because she rejected him when he had confessed to her and always sending his brainwashed A-class minions after her to get her in trouble. But unlike her, the girl's parents are not so eager about this sudden drop. Her first day begins with some familiar faces but to her disappointment, no Cherry.
