Embers in the Dawn (Ongoing)

An Old man travels alone through the mountains, his only companion being his beloved stallion.
On a search for a runaway boy, the old hunter tracks his prey through the wilds.
His trade is grim, and some even say dishonorable, but it's what he knows, and honor can't put bread in your mouth, or ale in your belly.
Oh his journey Verick the Hunter will remember more about himself that he would sooner have forgotten, and find much that would he rather have stayed lost.

"Our lives, it seems, are much like the campfire here" He mused, tossing a few more sticks into the flames.
"We start out so young, so full of promise, such a fire to be released from within us. As we burn out our youth, so bright and so hot, you'd think we'd go on burning so brilliantly forever. However, it seems that no matter how bright our flame, no matter how brilliant our passion. Eventually though, we all fade. In the end, we are all as embers in the dawn, slowly crackling out our last sparks as we fade"
