The story follows young Maria, a seventeen year old, from one of the few survivors settlements. 30 years after the disease outbreak, which turns people into flesh fed monsters.
I hope at least some people will enjoy this. Not my first experience in writing. But first time trying to publish.

A Light That Never Fades
Living in the busy city of Boston, Samy Meyers who is a 17 year old girl, finds herself going to a high school event with her younger brother Zane who she is forced to bring along. Her brother doesn't often get along with her due to her lack of presence. Samy is a careless teen girl who has been dealing with some un-controlling problems of hers lately. Because of this, it has led to her loved ones distrusting her and becoming distant. Samy doesn't know how she can fix this problem of hers, or even herself. During the event, something unimaginably horrifying occurs. All of a sudden, she witnesses people getting eaten and torn apart by 'sick' deranged people. The entire school campus is turned to bloodshed. A switch goes off in her head when she sees the chaos unfold, there is only one thought that enters her mind. And that is to protect her little brother Zane no matter what.... A seven year old girl trying to survive the zombie apocalypse in a fairly small city in rural New Mexico. This is the third in my short story series taken from the universe created for my first book. Ardamin: Clone #7. These short stories are more horror focused than the main book. But how can you tell the story of a zombie apocalypse without some horror? This story is unedited and first draft as keeping with my first two short stories posted to Instagram and therefore will not be polished or fixed with multiple drafts leading to an end product. Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Lengkap

Maria wasn't sure why or how the entity haunted her; she never played with a ouija bound and she never chanted Bloody Mary in her bathroom but on this particular day, when she was home alone, a huge terrifying Monster pounced on her from her closet and attacked her in her own room, the Monster itself was a huge, horrifying, sinister entity with startling glowing yellow eyes that seemed to stare into her soul.
