Power struggles and unequal rights have made interplanetary war all but inevitable. The Assassin and the Crown of Stars
"There had been a time, long ago, long before even Nova was alive, when not everything was made from rusted metal and broken scraps. This is what she was fighting for, a better future, a better world, for her people. And the people sitting, unbothered and comfortable, on the other side of the gleaming white walls of the palace were the only thing standing in her way. " Nova, the nineteen-year-old spy assassin with a troubled past and an uncertain future, will stop at nothing to give her people a chance at survival. When Empires Meet
The world is rapidly changing. On Earth, geopolitical tensions rise to a breaking point, with nations poised on the edge of catastrophic conflict. But far beyond the planet's atmosphere, a different war rages-one that spans the vastness of space. In the depths of the galaxy, two great powers collide in a brutal, unending war. Their fleets clash in distant systems and barren asteroid fields, fighting for dominance over resources and territory. This is a war of empires, driven by ambition and desperation, where survival comes at a cost few can bear. For now, Earth's struggles and the galactic conflict remain separate, their paths unknowingly intertwined. But the threads of fate are drawing tighter, and the actions of soldiers, leaders, and nations on both sides are on a collision course. When these two worlds meet, the consequences will reshape not just one, but the future of all. "When Empires Meet" is a sweeping tale of ambition, survival, and the interwoven destinies of two wars waged across vastly different scales. As the battles rage on, the choices made in the heat of conflict will echo far beyond the battlefield-binding two worlds together in ways no one could have imagined.
Supernova Blitz
Journal Entry: SB-0001 December 18th, 2031 It has been about five months since the attack, and our meager fleet of ships are clinging to life. It all started with an interstellar signal. Sometimes, superstition has it right. It might not have been wrong to compare that dreadful signal to the blaring of the trumpets signaling the end of times. By the time they arrived, they knew us as if they had been watching us all along. Their invasion was swift, precise, and purpose-driven, ruined only by our own short-sighted counterattack that delayed the inevitable. And, during that delay, a small fraction of humanity managed to escape into the stars. With our homeworld of Earth gone in the blink of an eye, we are now forced to survive on modified cruiseliner starships and cling to life as our pursuers relentlessly hound us, the varying perils of space claw at our very existence, and our own simmering tensions threaten to break into a roiling turmoil. However, if there is one thing that gives me hope as I write this journal entry, it is that humanity can accomplish even the seemingly impossible through cooperation and willpower. Our story unfolding will put both of those to the test... Cover Illustrated by CherryInTheSun
