"Rise and shine, pretty boy!" I shout at him and he doesn't respond. Of course not. Almost two months have passed and I'm still dead. *** *** *** *** *** This story, which began as flash fiction many years ago, is now a new adult romance novel. It's set in Georgia with a splash of magic and centers around Mallory Richards, who is not a typical ghost. It's 1996 in Atlanta, GA, and Mallory Richards has died three days before her twenty-sixth birthday. She's been following Evan Douglas these past three months, and she's not sure why her spirit came to him, but maybe it's because he was the last person she touched before dying. There are many things Mallory doesn't know or understand, like how she died, as she tries to handle and grieve her own death, but since she can't be alive again, she at least wants to be noticed. This is part of the first chapter for the book I hope to fully publish this year. (Forgive the amateur cover I threw together!)All Rights Reserved
