Sirens have many descriptions:
Mythical, enchanting, beautiful...
And real.
And, they're not all too bad. Other than the fact that the reason why they're so hidden away is because they either kill Humans that find out about them or just live in otherwise uninhabitable environments.
Such as the Deep Sea.
Regina Tempus, the Queen of The Deep Sea Sirens, is a fearless and vicious person. And she also made... a journal? And this journal has also, somehow, ended up in your possession.
Consider yourself lucky that this is somehow water-resistant paper, and that this has somehow gotten to the surface from the Deep Sea.
So, go on, and read The Queen's Journal.

No Longer Our Sea (Book 1)
Sirens are foretold to be breathtakingly beautiful, enchanting, and merciless with their victims. A siren's voice is like poison to their prey: it consumes, it tortures, it destroys. To give mercy to the humans is to be weak, but mercy is all their Princess is made of. Aelila Corearien is the opposite of any other siren. She's selfless, affectionate, incapable of a kill: weak. When the humans poison her kind with a new deadly weapon after years of not attacking, it costs Aelila one of her own and her mother's impending wrath. The Siren Queen sends her daughter on land to carry out her revenge: to kill the human King once and for all. Aelila then finds herself sent into the midst of the human royal court to fulfill her mother's biding, but there's one problem. Aelila can't kill, and she doesn't want to become the monster the deed would make her. Instead, Aelila is thrown into a courtly battle as she faces enemies, self-doubt, and her growing affections for a human Prince. • 🌊||COMPLETED||🌊 🏆#10 in "sirens" 2/26/19 🏆#5 in "creatures" 3/18/19 🏆#1 in "seas" 5/21/19 🏆#15 in "medieval" 7/8/19 🏆#25 in "mystical" 9/15/19 🏆#3 in "siren" 10/17/19 🧜🏼♀️ 1k on July 6, 2019‼️ 🧜🏼♀️ 2k on November 28, 2019‼️ Cover by: @Jells_Tamamlanmış Hikaye

Rejected by those above the surface, these women roam the seas, exercising their terrible new power--the power of the Heartsong--to bend every creature to their will, and lure the hapless sailors to their deaths.
