Okay, so here's the tea:

Branding and graphic expert Gemma Thompson has been eyeing Greggory Reynolds (more like ogling him), for... Well, for an embarrassingly long time. He's grumpy, cynical, a total GQ dream, and the best of the best on Capital Letters' advertising team. Oh, and he's finally single.
Cue heart palpitations.
When they're partnered together for a marketing challenge at work, Gemma decides she might just be crazy enough to go for it. And by 'it,' she means the rebound. Because being the rebound is better than being nobody, right? There's at least some potential there.
Her proposal: Three dates, set limits, no expectations. (Only hope.)

Gregg Reynolds is focused on the win. A former semi-pro hockey goalie with major defenses and something to prove, he has his eyes set on a promotion. His eyes are no longer set on his indecisive ex. And they're certainly not set on tooth-achingly cheery Gemma Thompson.
At least, not at first.
She keeps catching him off guard. First, with her entirely unforeseen, completely bizarre proposal-I mean, she practically begged, and that's only after she insulted him by the copier-and then, with her overly abundant, disarming smiles.
And don't even get him started on her obsession with God-awful puns. Just. Don't.
It's three measly dates, and she's loaded with ideas for their project. He sees the potential. He anticipates the win.

What he doesn't anticipate, is Gemma sneaking past all his defenses.
