When Alec turns 29, it finally hits Magnus. He starts to have nightmares about Alec dying. Alec is his whole world and he's not ready to let that go. Ever. He doesn't know what to say. He doesn't tell Alec about how he is feeling.

When things get too much, as mundane as it sounds, he cuts himself. It's a way to forget about his worries. He usually heals the scars when Alec comes back from work, so he doesn't find out. 

Will Alexander find a way to make him happy again? Or will their relationship turn sour?

I would write it differently today. Nevertheless I'll leave it as I wrote it then. A bit clumsy, a bit inexperienced. Because I remember how much I wanted this. This was the point where my mental healing began. That's where I realised that by writing Malec stories, I was not only giving myself, but also the rest of the community, a refuge from the anxieties of everyday life. However, I plan to re- write it again because the story excites me and I wonder how I would do it with my current knowledge. If that happens, the original will still be here.
