A princess, Arlette Baudelaire, of the Kingdom Alengueux, was given precious gifts when she was born. One was not put in her possession until the Oracle of La Forêt de Cendres calls her and Queen Marie-Francoise, on her twentieth birthday, to her cottage at the edge of the forest. She gives her a beautiful golden Crown adorned with a large Black Sapphire surrounded by bright red Rubies. She never knew how sought after the Black Sapphire is, until she was told to protect it with her life.
