Haven doesn't believe in love. Not since her mother ran away with her father's childhood best friend.

But life has a funny way of making you realize the truth you've known all along.
-------

Haven has spent the last few years with emotional trauma of her mother abandoning her family. Haven has a problem with not only trusting people, but being able to read their intentions.

Hudson has his own emotional baggage from his parents who care more about putting up a family image than their own son. Yet he never makes it known he's carrying that weight on his shoulders.

Can Hudson teach Haven how to let go of her past and move on from her mistakes?

And will Haven finally learn that not all love will end in disaster?
-------

"I don't know who I am. I've spent the last few years trying everything in my power to not be like her. To be better".

"Haven, you are not your mother. Her mistakes don't reflect who you are".

"But what if I am".
