(personal note I had a friend go deaf and it's not a good feeling knowing they won't be able to hear you anymore it hurts so this story will have some sad parts and I can do some shipping and stuff just let me know)

Deku was born deaf, but he been having surgery to his ears. He been told one of his ears is better then the other so he has to use a hearing aid so he be able to actually hear. He knows sign language, he could also write. Still speaking was hard. So he was also mute. Deku only knew few words. Kacchan doesn't know deku was deaf. (In this au I'm making it seem like they aren't childhood friends, but they seem their mother talk and drink coffee or tea together but deku was always far away from Kacchan. Bakugo is always rude to everyone. Loud, rough, mean, and hateful. But that's just a mask he puts on every time he leaves his room. The thoughts are always there, the voices and words. They won't shut up. They won't stop telling the truth. Everyone is out to get the aspiring hero, and his mind won't let him trust anyone.
