"In the end, the answer you seek will always be inside you."

Zoldea was an alternate world, where magic existed, and the people were divided into twelve clans. At its center were the guardians who protected the people from any evil, and protected a sacred jewel called the Zodiac, the most powerful item in history. Nobody knew what it looked like or where it was, and it was said to have the power to destroy the world. With the guardians protecting it, Zoldea was at peace for a long era.

That age of peace, however, suddenly collapsed when a rebelling group called the Anti came to steal the Zodiac in order to recreate the world. Wielding a special form of magic nobody had ever seen before, Anti massacred all the guardians, taking full control over Zoldea, sending the world into chaos as it searched high and low for the Zodiac.

However, one guardian survived the massacre. He fled to earth to escape Anti, along with his children, vowing to return someday, and save the world. And so, fourteen years pass, and Zara Winter grows up, believing that she is a normal girl who lives with her dad and brother, who've kept the existence of Zoldea a secret.

But after Zara's father is murdered, her and her brother Zayn are forced to return to Zoldea. Now it is up to Zara Winter to save Zoldea and bring peace back, with the help of a rebel group.
