The Institute, a very secretive technological society which once terrified the post-apocalyptic world above, is now gone, buried beneath rubble and water. 

Bianca DeLuca is alone and wandering the Commonwealth in search of the humanity she's lost. Along with her reluctant new tag-along Cait, a violent ruffian with nothing much to lose, she finds herself stranded in new territory: a whole new world of refreshment, to be exact.

And it's not quite the wasteland vacation one would expect.

This is a fanfiction based on a popular game and was previously available on AO3. As it got good reviews from readers, I thought I might post it on here as well. I find it worth mentioning that you do not really need previous knowledge about the Fallout 4 game if you would like to read this. At the beginning of the story, I'll leave a short background info chapter for those who are new to the Fallout world created by Bethesda. This book is open to all readers interested in adventure and good ol' lady love set in a post-apocalyptic/sci-fi world. Most of the characters, dialogue and settings do not belong to me, as they are game content.All Rights Reserved

A series of journal entries written by a woman out of time and her adventures in a strange new world This fanfic is written as a"first person POV journal" by the sole survivor from Fallout 4. Written as "journal entries" means, we have the main chappters, such as "Collage is hard", and that main chaper is broken down into sub chapters or "Journal titles". There will be 2-5 entries per chapter. Each chapter could be as short as 500 words or as long as 3000 words, sometimes less, sometimes more. It really just depends on how much "Callie" has to say. Content warnings! This fanfic will include the following. Non-cannon elements( I am using the mod pack magnum opus), drug use, blood and gore, domestic abuse(light), Sol has claustrophobia, drinking, M/f and F/F sex, lots and lots of swearing( i swear like a sailor) loss of pregnancy, attempted suicide, depression and self-harm. Female Sole Survivor (Y/N) A.K.A 'Charmer's meeting and befriending of the ex-mercenary MacCready in Fallout 4. This is my realistic interpretation of how it would feel, to be the sole survivor trying to find a second chance at living, in the wasteland, based on the events in the game. My imagining of what was said in between missions and how the trust between them formed. Slowish-burn, friends-to-lovers romance, with occasional angst and grief, commonly found in the Wasteland. Both Charmer and MacCready deal with having lost their first loves, due to circumstances beyond their control, yet somehow still manage to fall in love again. Charmer and Robert both face hardships along their journey towards saving their children. Will their newly budded romance be able to withstand the pressure? Or will it prove to be too much for these hardened individuals to take? This story follows and retells quests mostly for timeline and plot purposes. Based heavily on my recent/current playthrough, where I did all of MacCready's companion quests early in the game. Caution Mature Content: violence, death, language, drug-use, mental health issues and descriptive sexual content.

Taming the Wasteland by agoodhiding

Boston 2287. Two hundred years after a nuclear war destroyed mainland USA, and the civilisation that had emerged from the rubble was anything but civilised. The Commonwealth, post nuclear apocalypse, was a wild and unruly place to live. Many armed and dangerous bands operated with almost complete impunity within the state of Massachusetts. Law and order was non-existent. Some claimed a higher cause, others were in it just for the gain, but the one thing all these roaming groups had in common was that they were unhinged, ruthless and fanatical. In order for most normal folk to survive, people had to take up arms of one sort or another and death was a regular and everyday threat for most inhabitants of Boston and the outlying areas. For Nate, Curie, Cait and Piper, the answer to this everyday threat was to form into a tight knit, well trained military unit. Helping out wherever they could, they soon gained a reputation as a team able to get jobs done. What began as a few errands to earn desperately needed currency in order to survive in this chaotic wasteland, soon became broader quests for the greater good. Book 2 in the Companion Series.
