Cover by @TurtlesAndHamilton This is old and kinda cringy but I liked it when I wrote it. I am not and won't ever be editing it, so there may be some grammar issues and typos, and the bits written in French are taken directly from google translate, so I'm sure they're not great either haha, but you don't need to comment on it, it's not a concern for me, I'm not going to fix them lol. #200 In fanfiction, December 25th, 2017 Hit 100K reads on March 2nd, 2018!! hit420kreadsonaugust21st,2019Complete

❝You're Margarita Schuyler, aren't you?❞ ❝Peggy.❞ I correct. ❝Just Peggy.❞ The freckled face boy tilts his head and smirks at me. ❝Hmm. No.❞ ❝No? You can't just tell me you aren't going to call me by my preferred name.❞ ❝I can, actually.❞ Who does this guy think he is? And, why is he so attractive while he's being a jerk? ♡ John Laurens is angry. Peggy Schuyler is fed up. John is stormy and hot-headed. Peggy is bright and loving. Though her sisters tell her he's bad news, Peggy can't stay away from him. She doesn't want to. She sees something in him no one else does. John absolutely adores Peggy. She's the first person that's ever stuck up for him since his mother died. Peggy is his everything and he'd be damned if anyone tries to take her away from him. No one wants them together, and they're going to find out just how far their friends will go to break them up. John and Peggy made a pact that they'd do anything for each other. Behind Closed Doors (Lams)
"The first rule of living on the streets (or rather, living at all) is that you never get too attached to anything. Don't waste your time. Don't make the effort. Because fortunes changed by the second. People don't stay. Alex was smart enough to know how it worked. He was also smart enough to know that he'd crossed that line with John too long ago to take it back." ------------------------ There's usually one rule when it comes to having a big group of friends: Do NOT date inside of the group. It's strict but simple, it avoids third wheeling scenarios and messy breakups; those never end well. So, truly, falling in love with your childhood best friend fucking sucked. Highest rankings: #1 in Laurens #1 in Lams #1 in LamsAu #1 in Musicaltheatre (I love you guys. thank you for the support.) *trigger warnings are written at the start of chapters in this book in as much detail as i can,, i try to cover any potentially triggering content throughout in that list. if i ever miss anything, please let me know! i'm still learning!* please know that this book is written in the perspective of several unreliable narrators. i do not endorse some of the behaviour and mindsets presented throughout this book!!! they are not my own and you should not replicate any of it!Complete
