Roughly 60 years after The Fall, Jonah lives in the rough parts of New America. The city is split practically in half, the rich and the poor, the in between were practically nonexistent. Jonah's lived amongst the Lower Class for two years now, living a pretty peaceful life until gang rivalry threatens the Lower Class.
For years children have been disappearing, but after a big name gang in the Upperclass has a child of their own disappear, blame turns to the Lower Class.
Many theorize the disappearances have to do with something much higher than mere gang rivalry, and once Jonah witnesses the children of someone he does business with disappear, he realizes just how big this all really is.

Hello, dear reader. My name is Jonah, and I've never been someone who's lived an exciting life. The most out-there thing I've ever done? Trying a red devil burger. Hey, it really was as hot as it sounded. Well, my life sort of hit a snag one day. I got talked into going out, went to a park late at night, and BAM - somebody killed me. It didn't stick, though, or you wouldn't be reading this. Some weird homeless-looking guy woke me up from it, claiming to be a necromancer. In exchange for him doing that for me, he makes me give him a place to stay. Now that I've got a new lease on life, I'm not about to let it slip away again. My first death would've left me with so many regrets had it been permanent, and I don't plan on letting my permanent one do that to me. Of course, things are hard at home and school. Being gay in a conservative area will do that to a guy. Finding out all the quirks about my zombiism doesn't make it easier, and then there's all the other supernatural stuff going on. I will try to catch any proofreading issues and continuity errors, but I can't promise anything exciting. This is also a very dark paranormal romance with a fox shifter omega and a non-shifter alpha. I'd describe it as spicy but with lots of emotional angst. It's got hurt/comfort galore and an age gap (28 and 41). It features lots of knotting, scenting, mpreg, explicit scenes of cutting and self-harm, suicidal ideation, sexual abuse (in the past, not between the two MMCs), dubcon and issues of consent.
