"Can I sit here, nobody's allowing me anywhere else," the redhead says weakly expecting to receive a no. The cafeteria goes dead silent as all eyes and attention are on us.
"Get lost loser," Shawn says. The kid looks down further before he begins to walk away but I shake my head.
"No. You can sit here." Shawn gives me a look before muttering underneath his breath. "Play nice, Shawny." Shawn almost instantly began to grumble something under his breath once again. "Go ahead. We won't hurt you, won't we?"
Amaya Wolff. A feared bad-ass of Palo Alto High School. Mostly because she's so damn mysterious, the way she's really good at fighting, and her "amazing" personality. Nobody really knows about her besides for those that were there along the way. That leaves seven lucky people that know about this. Her mom, step-dad, her little brother (Jonah), and the four guys in school that she's really tight with. Nobody else knows her story and while some were there for the best, others were the problem.
That's until the new kid, Ace Bentley, comes to the school. Nobody gives him the time of day. That's before Amaya gives him a chance and forces her friends to do the same. But does this chance give him the opportunity to uncover the truth about her and if so will he stick around after everything he learns.
Can this change everything for Amaya or will this be something that she just needed? So much can change so fast.
