In the ocean, away from any land or Island there was a small pod of mermaids. There was a family in the pod that was being hunted, so they decided to have a meeting to cast out the unwanted family. Once the family left the child found land but the parents were gone and couldn't help the child as he was taken away.

The Borrower and the Fairy Prince
*Completed* Virgil has never had it easy, not since he was kicked out of his home by his own father. He's struggled to survive, and has fought for food. He sees what should have been an easy meal, some berries on a tree hanging over the river. It should have been easy to get it, of course the stupid branch had to break and he was sent plummeting into the river. Roman loves to sneak away from his colony and his fae duties to head to the river, he's always wondered what is on the other side of it. Of course, he and everyone else in his colony is banned from crossing it. One day though, a stranger with no wings and a tail washes up on the river bank. When he takes him back to the colony, he's put in charge of taking care of him. Thomas has inherited his home from family, it's in the middle of nowhere in a forest. It was nice, and not too far from his home is a nice river he can explore. Of course it can't be so simple though, since Thomas is in debt and could very well lose the home. Not wanting to lose a home that had been in his family for so long, he struggles to find some way to pay it off. This is a story about a boy named Logan, it's also a story about a shoe and a book. Everyone knows the tale of Cinderella, but nobody knows where it really came from, nobody knows her glass slippers were actually boots, nobody knows that the fairy god mother was just a family friend and nobody knows that Cinderella was really just a nerdy farm boy trying to scrape by. Logan's life has been essentially taken from him, he's abused by his step father Roman, his Step brother Patton insults him every chance he can get and he's been closed off from the outside world. The only person he has left anymore is his god father Picani who's completely at his wits end, one day though he meets a handsome stranger named Remus and he can't stop thinking about him , all of sudden Logan can't just sit around and fade into the background like his step family wants him to. He's gotta take a stand and find his destiny and there's no fairies or talking mice to help him out on this one. Through the reveal of Remus, things between the sides have changed. Logan's advice to Thomas has been taken up by Virgil, talking to Patton and learning to grow as a side. All seemed to be going smoothly until Remus tells Roman something not so true ,and with a new dilemma facing Thomas, the sides are busting out the seems of their foundation to try and keep things together. Deceit is unpopular in highschool, as others find him ugly with his snake-like burn, he is depressed and self harms, he has a crush on one of the most popular kids, Logan, they meet in a class and try to become friends, but Logan's friends, Patton, Roman, Virgil, try to push them further apart. Edit- 06/02/21 this was one of the first things I tried to properly write, it isn't that great but it does show how much I've improved and I find that cool now that I've gotten over most of my embarrassment about it.
