En esta historia, nos situamos en la capital  de Perú, Lima gris. Apuntamos a la clase social alta: los pudientes, los manyados o, muchas veces, arribistas. Carolina Santistevan es una amiga enfermiza que, loca de celos, o en sus palabras "preocupación", no deja que nadie se le acerque a su mejor amiga, Samantha Bravo. En uno de sus intentos por repelerlos de su mejor amiga, no puede evitar enamorarse de uno al que Samantha sí le echó el ojo: Lucas Bescio.
