I stumble through the forest as tears create tracks through the layer of dirt on my face. I fall over a loose rock, grunting in displeasure when my body hits the cold hard ground. Well, the cold doesn't bother me.
I shiver as cold, more than I can handle, seeps through me. What is wrong with me? I try to get up, but my arms are shaking to hard and fast for me to do so.
Black starts clouding my vision, and my ears start to ring. Before I pass out completely, I hear a a soft velvet voice say "Guys, over here."

He cared for her when nobody else did and he treated her like his own child. When she was deployed, he was the only "father" to keep in-touch with her.
