Everybody's got a hunger, a hunger they can't resist. There's so much that you want, you deserve much more than this. But if dreams came true, oh, wouldn't that be nice. But this ain't no dream we're living through tonight. Girl, you want it, take it, you pay the price. - Bruce Springsteen, 'Prove It All Night' Adelaide's eyes hastily read the dirty, ripped and quickly written note from the Black Night. "Meet me at the lake by midnight." Not more, not less but she knew more than enough.

This is the work in progress version of my first book that I plan on publishing. This is only the first book in what I hope will become an expansive world. I must say that these books deal with some heavy subject matter so if you think you shouldn't read it then don't; you have been warned. For those who choose to stay I look forward to hearing back from you and I hope you will stick around to see how the world I have created develops. Without further ado, Death's Dance. Are you really still a princess if your kingdom is in ruins? If there is no one left to rule over but shadows? I was supposed to be their hope. I thought I changed my destiny; and yet, when my time came and they needed me most I failed them, I failed them all. Most of all I failed you brother. You who believed in me. You gave everything to prove that I was more than the curse flowing in me.
