Hated

Upon arriving at school, I wiped away my tears with my sleeve and combed through my uneven hair with my fingers, before walking to the office and collecting an absence card. I was leaving the office when Vanessa walked in to collect her own pass.
She whispered in my ear, "ever pull a stunt like that again, then I have a secret to spill" she smirked and then sashayed over to grab her absence pass. I furiously wiped my eyes with my sleeve again, causing one of my brown contacts to fall out. I hurried to put it back in, even though the halls were empty because everyone was in their first class.
"Haha, if only the rest of the school knew." Vanessa whispered on her way out of the office before strutting away.
I hate her. I really do. But there was nothing I could do about it.

Sophie and Vanessa are sisters, living their everyday life. But this life isn't so ordinary is it? Even though they are twins, Vanessa is spoiled, while Sophie is forced to do all of Vanessa chores.
