Annabeth Chase is what the world sees as a "Perfect Girl". She has the perfect group of friends. She is one of the popular girls. She has a caring father and a step-mother, along with two loving half-brothers. She has always lived on the wealthier side of life thanks to her tenured college proffessor father. She has all she could ever ask for.

Percy Jackson is an outsider. He is troubled and not the best a communicating what he feels. All he has is his wonderful mother, yet they consitantly live in fear of his tyrant step-father. He lives in a small, pig-stye of an apartment and his family can never afford for the luxuary items.

Little do these two kids know of what is in store for them with their chance meeting on a place Percy visits frequently and a place Annabeth has just thought of. Will they connect and be able to count on each other when they begin to fade. Or will their unknowingly shared secret stay un-said?
