There are lots of things that go 'bump' in the night. A lot of those things no one really knows about, except for a handful of people that were made aware of their existence one way or another. Kaede is one such man who was brought into the fight against the darkness when he lost his brother. Joining up with a woman named Runa, the pair are on a hunting spree of anomalies throughout the city.

It isn't until things start to get rather out of control that they decide they're going to need a little bit more help than just the two of them taking on very increasingly powerful demons that stalk the streets at night. They meet a young boy simply by the name of Sync. A seemingly average school-going kid on the outside, but a hunter of the nighttime demons through and through. With him is an informant who always seems to be one step ahead of everyone.

Fighting together is one thing, figuring out who is behind all of the anomalies that keep popping up and growing stronger by the minute is definitely another.

~~Note: This is a collaboration, so the POV will change a lot. We've gone through and done as much editing as possible to denote when the POV changes when the characters are not interacting directly with each other. Enjoy!! :D~~

(This is fan made, all rights belong to Sony and I do not own this IP) (The only thing I own/created are the custom characters in the story) (If you have any tips or anything you would like to see improve, please tell me. Advice to help me and the story improve is appreciated) K-POP DEMON HUNTERS: FROM THE SHADOWS Fame hides many things. Like demons. And the boys cleaning them up. To the world, HUNTR/X is the ultimate K-pop powerhouse-three unstoppable idols who conquered charts, trends, and hearts. Their legendary victory over the villainous Saja Boys-a rival boy group plagued by "scandals" and dramatic collapse-became the stuff of pop culture history. Fans called it a comeback. No one guessed it was a war. Because demons don't exist. At least, that's what the world believes. But V1SION-a rookie trio made up of backup dancers turned demon-hunting trainees-knows the truth. For the last three years, Kaiyo, Jin, and Eon have worked in the shadows, containing the threats left behind after the fall of Gwi-Ma, a monstrous evil the public still thinks was "just part of the show." Now, HUNTR/X is preparing to introduce their "official trainees" to the spotlight-and V1SION is suddenly on stage, in fans' feeds, and under a pressure they never trained for. The magical barrier that once held back the dark is fraying. Glyphs are changing. And some secrets, no matter how pretty they look under stage lights, can't stay buried forever. Beep-beep-beep. The wail of sirens tore through the night. Blue and red lights flickered across the metal floor, while the deep rumble of the engines made the hull tremble. Kaede stood motionless. He felt nothing-only the muffled murmur of voices he had long since grown used to. More dead. More than before. A quiet sigh escaped him. Pain. Despair. Fear. They were all there, buried deep inside, but he kept them locked away. "Kaede..." Her voice was soft, warm-a rare contrast to the cold all around him. A faint light slid into his peripheral vision, then her fingers closed around his arm. The grip was calm, yet unyielding. "No matter if the others see you as a monster... I'll always stay by your side." She smiled faintly, as if adding something unspoken, and whispered, "Ah... this will be nice. As long as you only love me." Kaede took it as nothing more than comfort-and felt some of his tension melt away. "Everyone ready for the drop!" The commander's voice shattered the moment. The ramp groaned open, cold air rushing inside, and gunfire cracked in the distance. She didn't move from his side, as if the rest of the world simply didn't matter.
