After Meissner was first assaulted by Bonapart, then shot by Sean Renard, he was believed to be dead. Only, he wasn't...
Saved in the nick of time by Eric LeBon, commander of New Orleans branch of Hadrian's Wall - HW - he was brought to New Orleans in the LeBon family's private plane to recover from his wounds.
Eric gave a chance to start a-new, having the choice to be involved with HW, or, being on the sideline of things, owning a strawberry farm in Ponchatoula as a cover.
Then he met his new neighbour, Fleur LeBlanc, sister of Chance LeBon's wife. Fien.
He was attracted to her, but, didn't admit it, as in his life there was no more place for romance.
He married Fleur anyway, to cover up his new assignment back in Portland.
Fleur, on the other hand, fell in love him and gladly went with him to Portland.
Sadly, Meissner was gone in the morning, leaving Fleur pregnant , after having only spent one night with her husband.
So, the hunt for Meissner starts, and the question is, to who will find him first...the bad guys, or Fleur, who,s desperate to find back the love of her life?
A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world.
The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
