Hiccup and Toothless left Berk thinking no one cared. Being the neglected child of Berk (despite his family, and being the heir to the village), Hiccup decided he'd had enough. He took Toothless and his most treasured belongings and high-tailed it out of there. When he runs into his long-lost mother, life looks up for Hiccup. He's found a place where he belongs. Meanwhile, on Berk, the village assumed Hiccup was dead by a Night Fury's doing and left it at that. Astrid and her friends, however, didn't think such. A Runaways Resolve, A Dragon Master's Legacy
You have likely seen it all before, Hiccup gets chosen to kill the Monstrous Nightmare but instead of staying to try and prove to his village dragons aren't the monsters they think they are, he leaves. Abandons the world he knows for a world of possibility, a world where he can be him, be free. What if he is one day discovered by a group of dragon riders and chose to join them as they had adventure after adventure. It would be a good life but of course it would never stay so happy, things would change sometimes for the better sometimes for worse. Old scars would surface, old lives reappear and new faces vanish, how would this affect him. Well shall we find out? I don't own the How To Train Your Dragon franchise of course and this is all done for fun. You know the legal stuff. I also don't own the image, I got it off of google as one could expect. For now the story isn't Mature though this may change in the future as I continue so I will make sure to change that if it becomes necessary, just an early warning just in case I break a guideline.
