"A thousand years ago, the wind could speak the future to us. People would spend days out in the desert, just for a chance at hearing their fate. I've heard what the wind plans for me; a princess without a family, a queen without a country. But I believe that you have two options: you can let fate blow you over, or you can spread your wings and direct it."

Rajani of Chikarth has never truly fit in. As the adopted daughter of General Hayate Ajam, the Lord Paramount of the recently conquered desert Chikarth, she is one of the few members of her race that was not subjected to the brutal enslavement that came with the conquest when she was three years old. As a Chikarthi, she has always been separated from her Maekaran peers, and she resolutely eliminates anything that may widen that gap. The only people that seem to overlook her nationality are her father and her best friend and lover, the Crown Prince of the Maekaran empire.

However, her world begins to crumble when she meets Shiro, a white-haired Chikarthi slave who never seem to leave her thoughts, and it shatters when she finds a locket with two people inside, one of which bears her face.

In Saileora, power hums beneath the soil, ancient and untamed. Seeker Wrain, princess and heir to a throne that feels more like a cage, has always sensed it, both around and inside her. But the whispers of that hidden force - the stirring of magic, the heartbeat of the land - have never explicitly belonged to her. Until now. When an impossible void tears through the quiet countryside, leaving her kingdom's fields in ruins and the skies heavy with shadows, Seeker is thrust into a world of secrets she never asked to inherit. The dragons - the ancient gods of her people - are no longer the benevolent protectors of legend. One of them, Ascklees, has risen from his grave, burning with a hatred that could ignite all of Saileora. The land calls for heroes, but Seeker has never been one. Not the fierce warrior like her childhood friend Calix Clearbow, who walks in the light with unwavering bravery, nor the brilliant Dr. Rockbrow who seems to bend the world to her will. No, Seeker is something else entirely. A quiet storm, an unread book filled with power she does not yet understand. But there are others like her. Other Omnicircies - rare wielders of all the Subcirces, whose power has the potential to shape the fate of kingdoms. And they are waiting, hidden among the peaks of Vidya, the shores of Blissia and Brashar, and the deserts of Sadya. Only together can they confront the gathering storm, but first, they must be found. In The Dragon's Call, nothing is as it seems. Every smile hides a secret, every whisper holds a danger. Power calls to those who dare to listen, but power demands a price - one that not everyone will survive. Are you ready to heed the call?

In the world of Dragonfire, anything is possible. Flying, teleportation, invisibility, the ability to create a lightning storm on a whim...anything can be done. And anything can exist. Goblins, Orcs, Dragons, Dwarves, Kitsunes...there are countless races, and countless abilities. A world of fantasy in which anything is achievable. Or so it seems. After all, everything has a cost. And victory...victory is the most costing of all. Across the Black Sea, guarded by the Leviathan, there exists a large land separated into five territories. Celestia, Arvan, Ingres, Illicen, and Arumi. These five territories are named after those who control them. At least, that is how it used to be. From a distant land, the Snake Kingdom managed to bypass the Leviathan, and invade these five territories! Under the guidance of General Clauve, they crushed everyone in sight, until their only remaining opponent was Celestia. But they made a mistake, and Celestia capitalized. In a crushing defeat, the Snake Kingdom was bested after nearly 8 years of conflict. After the war ended, Albedo Aria, a soldier from Celestia, was promoted to the rank of General. But she didn't feel like a hero. Suffering from severe PTSD, this story follows her as she tries to overcome the nightmares of war, and move on from the terrible things she was forced to do. She was raised to be a soldier, and joined the war from the age of eleven. As a soldier of Celestia, she could never, and still cannot ever disobey any orders. When war calls, she must answer. Whether she is truly willing to or not. But after four years without conflict, surely things couldn't reach that state again? Or perhaps that isn't the case. After all, her dear cousin must deliver a letter to her. A letter telling her that the Snake Kingdom is on the rise in their very own land. A letter telling her that every sliver of happiness she has gained after the war ended will be lost. A letter telling her that she must return to war...

In the realm of Quomared, which occupies the biggest part of the continent, magic is a scarce and precious resource. Fewer and fewer humans are born magic bearers throughout the last decades. Zaretha is the only daughter of the Alsayid, religios leader and grand mage of the country, the most powerful still-living sorcerer on the continent in service of the emperor. She is, however, born empty, magicless, to everyone's disappointment. An attempt at a coup d'etate takes place after her twelfth birthday, and her father is assassinated under mysterious circumstances. An orphan now, she is brought to live in The Priory of the White Stones, a home for girls from families that have or had magic-bearing members. They are schooled to be concubines or wives that a noble family can acquire for their heir, because even if magic-less, they still carry the gene and have a fifty percent chance to bear a magic-yielding child. __________________ Mentions: Please don't copy and all that. Ix Chel and the Exiled Shadar Kai by iamtouhou
5 parts Ongoing Mature
Ix Chiel was born into a peaceful village nestled deep in the Yucatn jungle, where the ancient traditions and rich culture of the Marani people thrived. Named after the Marani goddess of the moon and medicine, she was expected to lead a humble life, honoring the gods through rituals and daily offerings. From a young age, Ix Chiel showed an unusual affinity for the sacred practices, and the village elders saw in her a vessel chosen by the gods. On her eighteenth birthday, a great drought struck the land. Desperate to appease Chaac, the god of rain, the elders determined that a human sacrifice was necessary. Ix Chiel, with her deep connection to the divine, was chosen. Bound and adorned with sacred markings, she was led to the sacrificial altar atop a great pyramid. As the ceremonial blade descended, Ix Chiel's vision blurred, and she accepted her fate with a prayer. Her body fell, lifeless, and the village waited for the rains. But as darkness enveloped her consciousness, a voice, ancient and foreign, whispered promises of revenge and power. An unknown god, spurned and forgotten by the Marani pantheon, reached out and pulled her from death's embrace. Her eyes opened, now glowing with an otherworldly light, and a malevolent force surged within her. Reanimated and fueled by the anger of the forsaken deity, Ix Chel became an instrument of vengeance. Her village, once a place of warmth and community, turned into a scene of chaos and destruction. She unleashed a storm of fury, annihilating her home and leaving no survivor.
