Welcome to the first ever Catharsis Shorty Story Contest!
Here, stories from varying genres will compete to win PRIZES, get FEEDBACK, and improve overall writing. As of now, we have the capability to judge stories in English, Spanish, and French, but we are actively looking for judges with more language capabilities.
To compete, contestants will be required to write a story of 5 maximum chapters, not surpassing the 20,000 word count, follow this account until the end of the contest, and submit a form with all of the information. It's that easy! Plus, anyone who is accepted will be shown their rubrics with tons of valuable feedback, regardless of placing!
This contest is currently under construction, as we are looking for judges, but we will keep this story up to date on the status of the competition.

From the contest Write to Rank, a competition about action writing with challenges every week. This is my entry on the contest. Hope you enjoy it. Released : Part 1 -white belt : write a 100 words flash-fiction action about the realization of danger. The wordcount must be exactly 100 Part 2 -yellow belt : write a 500 words flash-fiction with the prompt "Dead or alive. You're coming with me." The wordcount max is 500 words Part 3 -orange belt : write an 800 words flash-fiction with dialogue between good and bad. The wordcount max is 800 words Part 4 -green belt : write a 1000-1500 words flash-fiction using the genres of action & thriller/horror. Must mostly contain active sentences and fast-paced. This is not to humble-brag, but I've been critiquing and have worked with story development for quite some time, and I've picked up a lot along the way. ☙ - As an Ambassador, I work on content projects. ☙ - If you look at my profile, you'll see everything I've published so far has managed to standout in one way or another, whether by leading me to become a Wattpad Star; or by winning a Watty (twice!); or by being picked as a Top 10 in major Wattpad contests (twice!); or being featured. All I'm saying is I'm no slouch. I'm not brilliant either. But I've got some experience around what can catch an agent, editor, or judge's eye, and I'd like to share that with the community. ☙ - In another lifetime, I used to work for HBO in Development and at ICM (the talent agency) in their writers' department which means I understand how professionals quickly gauge whether or not they'll take a closer look at a work and/or make an offer.
