The year is 1985. It's been 4 years since Hannah stepped foot into Hawkins, but after the death of her dad, she reluctantly makes her way back to her hometown, dead set on one thing; avoiding Jim Hopper.
Hannah is greeted with some new faces, some old faces and a problem much bigger than her... again. It possibly could be the answer to everything that plagued her on a daily basis. The reason she left.
She couldn't explain it, but everything in Hawkins was suddenly a whole lot stranger than before, and if she wanted to stay and help this time around, she might need a new strategy plan. Running into Hopper was inevitable.

Jim Hopper is still in the process of handling his divorce, dealing with the new day to day from becoming the chief of police and doing his best to settle back into the small town of Hawkins. But Hannah King is the bur in his side that makes it all seem like an impossible task. (I really wanted to create an OC that had a past with Hopper that will return for season 3 only, and I felt like giving it a full fanfic of its own is the only way to really capture the bond before the chaos that is season 3.
