Six students, magical books, and of course, monsters--all within a hidden realm.

When a group of close friends from a nearby academy venture their library, they find their queer, aged librarian suspiciously hiding a book.

Intriguing rumors had been encircling the old building, and as one of the six companions retells the seemingly endless heresy of wizardry and magic bound to the establishment's history, the friends grow thrilled.

Journeying back into the eerie library once more only to face the consequences of their actions.

Winding arguments and labyrinths, tall elves and short dwarves, the silent souls of the night and the arrogant beasts of day--where would this journey lead them to?

However, when her soon-to-be husband is burned alive by a fiery creature, she realizes there's more to life than just suitors and balls. ~·~·~ As a woman, Alyria Willows is expected to cast aside her pursuit of independence to fulfil her duties as an acquiescent housewife; all for the sake of one's honour not even her own. However, the veil isn't as pellucid as Alyria thinks when a devastating upheaval leaves her grasping for answers. It's only after surviving a terrifying experience that she discovers more than blood flows through her veins. But that'll be the least of her concerns when a creature neither man nor dragon stalks her from the shadows. His gaze pierces like iron. His power radiates like lava. But even a man of his strength cannot hinder the threat that seeks to destroy. A ballet of starlight foretells a restless war. Lies will be unearthed, truths will be muddled, and victories will come at a steep price. But not everything is as it seems. After all, how can she trust a man of fire and ore when he may be the embodiment of evil itself? ________________ WARNING: crude language, depictions of violence and gore, mature content. Veiled in Light and Ruin

20 parts Ongoing

Every year, Lyra's village gathers beneath the ancient statues of the Fates, offering prayers and sacrifices to keep the creeping darkness at bay. The Ruined Kingdom stands in the distance, a forbidden place where no one enters and no one leaves. A place ruled by a king who does not age, does not die, and does not care for the world beyond his walls. Lyra has never believed in fate, only in survival. With her mother's health failing, she is willing to do whatever it takes to save what little she has left. But when this year's ritual goes terribly wrong, Lyra is taken-ripped from the life she knows and thrust into the heart of a kingdom lost to time. There, she is told she has been chosen. That she, along with others, must vie for the favor of a king no one has seen in over a century. But something is wrong within the castle's walls. Whispers of the past haunt her steps, and the King-cold, untouchable, and shrouded in secrets-watches her too closely. As shadows stir and forgotten magic awakens, Lyra begins to question everything she's been told about the Ruined Kingdom. And, more importantly, about herself. Because the deeper she delves into the mystery of the King and the kingdom he rules behind the walls, the more she realizes: Some destinies are written in blood. And some fates are meant to be broken.
