"hey, do you know when blackberries bloom?" she asks, turning her head to look at them.

they glance at her grinning slightly, while answering, "in the late spring, when the weather gets a little chilly. why do you ask?"

"no reason i just like blackberries is all...well then, we should give it name! what should we call it?" she suggests, eyes wide in wonder.

laughing at her childish antics, they say, "i don't know, you tell me."

she pouts, but still ponders for a while before answering, "how about, blackberry winter!"

"blackberry winter. i like that."
