BANG BANG the gun man could be heard shooting throw the halls of westtide highschool . I looked into the darkness hugging my friends . Damn this had to happen are last year of school I tried to joke to my crying friend under my left arm . Sadly I failed miserable and only worsen her crying . I sighed listening in to footstep down the hall before another gunshot a scream and thud followed cause many of the people in are math room to shake and whimper. I tried to focus but the closer the steps got the more I found myself shaking . I tried and tried to keep it togther for my 2 friends .
soon the steps stop at are door a gasp field the class room followed by the quietness of the room. after about a minute the door handle shook, and to are misfortune the door flew open.

My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. We held our breath as we heard footsteps enter the dark room. My heart raced and I covered my mouth to keep from screaming as tears ran down my cheeks. Caleb sat next to me, with obvious fear in his eyes. I knew that the desk couldn't hide us for much longer and that's what scared me the most. The footsteps came closer and they grew louder by the second. I held my breath once I heard the man's footsteps stop. Caleb and I exchanged looks as we sat frozen under the desk. I looked up, trying to listen to the man's actions. Then a gloved hand grabbed the edge of the desk and the man's bloody mask appeared in front of me. She sighed and inhaled the cold air of the dark room, snuggling under her covers. The only light illuminating the room was the light from the TV.
