Katherine Taylor, a typical teenage girl who finds her self stuck in between drama in high school, hiding herself behind books and work to separate her from the rest of the world. She wants to be herself, but she is too frightened to experience new things because of her insecurities. But will this school year change things?
Ian Knight, another typical teenager who finds drama in school humorous. He manages to stay calm even during tough times and always finds ways to solve his problems that come at him. He has always planned on how his life will be like, but will something or someone in school hit him by surprise?

I ask spitefully. I feel like a broken record. He pushes off of the desk and takes a step back. Before I even realize what I'm doing, I slap him square across the cheek. Shock is plastered on his face, and I'm sure it is on mine too. I stand there in awe of what I just did. It was so sudden I'm not even sure I decided to do it but rather my indignation controlling me. Steadily, Damon's face morphs from shocked to entertained.
