While on the way to Laverre City in the Kalos Region, DJ, Amanda, and Shyanna are held up by self-proclaimed toll collectors. When faced with a difficult matchup, will their youthful determination be enough to counter the experience of a hardened battler?

DJ- A seasoned battler/breeder originally from Jhoto. He has recently gotten back into his research on the origins and functions of Pokémon types.
Amanda- DJ's childhood friend and partner. Her focus is the proper care, grooming, and breeding of Pokémon.
