Lee Montoya has always dreamed of achieving rock-stardom with her band, The Troubadours. Forming the band when they were just teenagers, she's worked her butt off to get gigs at the best clubs and parties in Manchester and occasionally London for bigger celebrations.

Daniel Parkins, owner of the prestigious record company Red-Neck Records, knows talent when he sees it. When he arranges Mark Rhodes, one of his partners, to go to one of the bands London gigs Mark gets something totally unexpected thrown at him: An awkward female rock-star with a certain something about her that makes Mark find himself becoming attracted to her.

Along with the affection from her new-found fans, Lee has the added worry of her uber-cute best-friend suddenly confessing his love for her, the deep attraction she finds with her boss and then there's paparazzi following her every move.
