My name's Shyera and I'm the Salvatores' niece, I'm originally from New Orleans, The Salvatores' aren't my close family, in fact I barely know anything about them. My parents sent me to Mystic Falls because they said it was where I needed to be.
When all this drama about Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, Doppëlgangers and Hybrids started, a strange man came out of nowhere and claimed he was the first ever Hybrid!

Now Klaus is on the hunt for the next Petrova doppelgänger and he seemed to have found her. I hadn't ever met him until the day I was told I was different from the rest. And the destiny I chose would be the salvation or destruction of life. When Klaus first met me he showed no soul, as I grew closer to him, he showed me a side of him that he dare not show anyone. People say he's using me but other people say different...
