The Prequel to the Happytime Murders movie and events leading up to the moment Phil Phillips temporarily lost his job as a Detective Cop after one horrible missed shot. 

Phil joins and starts his first day at the police academy to become the first puppet cop and meets his future partner and other friends along the way. 

While Larry Phillips earns his big break as he gets his first major role in a brand new TV show on the Puppet Television Network and meets the co stars he so dearly gets to know well as they hope to do a show representing puppets in a more positive light in the Hollywood Industry!

The two brothers deal with many obstacles involving family tragedies,finding Love and  living in a human oriented world as they try and learn and find their place in society as puppet young adults trying to help the Felt be seen as equals to the Flesh.

Detective Connie Edwards struggles with trying to keep her sugar addiction under control and with the difficulties in being a single mom to her daughter desperately wanting to trust and find love again. Phil and Bubbles continue with work and make plans to wanna try and make plans for a baby despite being a infertile couple being a puppet and human. They deal with constant rejections from adoption and surrogacy agencies with the prejudice of being a felt and flesh couple. With extra tests being done on Sandra Whites body at the request of her mother,the Coroner Dr Angeline Carey invites Phil to tell him what was going down. Phil realizes Dr Angeline was Angie the baby sister of his and Larry's who was taken when their father left their mother. Phil and Angie then realize how much they need to unravel their family history and try and find their father and confront him after Phil realized he abandoned Angie not long after and she was raised in foster homes. Junkyard will stop at nothing to try and gain his ex girlfriend Roxy back and He and his posse try to also get Connie and Roxy back into their temptation of sugar to get revenge on her for trying to invade their drug rade a while back and blames Connie for Roxy leaving him.
